 Ayurvedic Yoga Massage is a powerful system of bodywork and fusion of traditional and modern techniques. The philosophy of AYM is based on the idea that stagnant energy is one of the causes of disease. The goal of this treatment is to help the client release the stored tension, emotions, stress and to open the natural, unobstructed energy flow through the body getting it back into harmony, balance and structural alignment The use of synchronized diaphragmic breathing is a powerful part of this system of bodywork. As the diaphragm relaxes during the exhalation, the bodily defences drop, allowing the release of large amounts of stress and tension. Stretches are performed up to the client individuallimit,inconjunction withcoachedrhythmic breathing of the client. The breath work allows the stretches to flow andmove deep into the body during the client exhalation. The Yoga based assisted movements work to unlock the muscles and tendons along the spine,from lower back to neck & shoulders, where most people hold their stress. The massage is done on the skin with neutraloilssuitablefor any body typeandon thefloor.
